What You Will Learn: Malu will discuss steps she has taken in leading organizations through large and complex Digital Transformations.
Malu Septien Milan brings over 25 years of industry expertise in Government and High Tech Manufacturing, focused on Operational Excellence and Digital IT Transformation Services.
Most recently, Malu successfully realized the transformation of the Quality Discipline at Microsoft by incorporating technology, Intelligent Business Process Capabilities, Six Sigma, ITIL V3 and latest trends in Social, Mobile, Big Data, and Cloud Services. Prior to Microsoft, Malu served as Global Director of Solution Engineering at Pepsico and Chief Technology Architect. Prior to Pepsico, Malu consulted for NASA which followed her role from Motorola as Global Chief Solutions Engineering Architecture Director serving all business units and the IT organization.
Malu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Everest University and a BPS in Telecommunications Management from Barry University. She holds quality certifications in Six Sigma Master BlackBelt, ITIL, ISO9000 Auditor, and earned the highest certification in Quality and Business Excellence for her Pioneer work on IBPM from Microsoft.
Malu holds a Mini-MBA AT&T with The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a regular at CISR Computer Information System Research Programs at MIT Sloan. Coach of Latino MBA Graduates at The Legatum Center at MIT who seek to accelerate social and economic progress through innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
Malu acted as Diversity, Inclusion and Leadership Culture Transformation Head across the companies she has served in addition to her technology leadership and business transformation leadership roles.
