Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for technology professionals and business decision makers.  It provides overviews of two of the hottest topics in data management today: “Big Data” and its use in business decision support, and the implications of using the cloud for BI management We address the questions, “How can my business use Big Data?” and “Should I be looking at cloud technology for my company’s BI efforts?”

Big Data Analytics with Michael Brown
In this presentation, Chief Technology Officer Michael Brown, a founding member of comScore, will describe the key issues, accomplishments, and challenges in driving one of the world’s largest decision-support systems to become an engine of critical information insight and business creativity for its clients. He will discuss technology and information architecture decisions behind comScore’s operations and offer thought leadership about what the future holds.

BI in the Cloud with David Overcash
BI in the Cloud is one of the hottest topics in BI today.  Whether you’re posting to Tableau Public, integrating your SalesForce.com with MicroStrategy Cloud, custom-building a client-facing mobile app via LogiXML, building a trillion-row spreadsheet with 1010data, or simply buying virtual server space to host your globally available data warehouse, the cloud is changing the way we approach and deliver BI.  Further, private cloud, virtual private cloud, software as a service (SaaS), or public cloud – each ‘flavor’ has its benefits, costs, risks, and challenges.

BI and Big Data in the Cloud Panel Discussion
Join us for an open discussion by company executives on their efforts and experiences with BI in the Cloud.  You won’t want to miss it!  Ample time allowed for your questions and answers.
