Uzma Khan: President



Uzma has over 30+ years of experience in IT with 20+ years of experience working in Data Architecture, Data Management, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. She has proven ability to work with business leaders to create data architecture that provide insights based on relevant and actionable data. Uzma has been recognized by her peers in the industry for her technical expertise and ability to mentor others. She has presented at Enterprise Data World, Data Architecture Online and DAMA Day. She is a Principle Software Architect for Boeing Global Services and Acting CIO for Tasveer.  She holds the following certifications: CDP, CDMP, CBIP & CITA-F.  She is passionate about growing the DAMA-PS chapter for fellow data enthusiasts and building alliances with other data groups in the Puget Sound area. She joined the DAMA PS board in 2014 and has served as the VP of Membership and VP of Special Events.
 

Jeff Johnson: Past President


Jeff has 20+ years data management experience, including at Starbucks, Experian Information Solutions, World Vision, Sila Solutions Group and DeepData. He holds a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Practitioner certificate from DAMA International. Jeff has a desire to lead the strategic direction of DAMA-PS with a team of committed members in order to proactively grow DAMA-Puget Sound's presence in the Puget Sound area.

ChaiJen To: Co-VP of Operations

ChaiJen is a consultant on both traditional and Cloud data architecture,  for Global 1000 companies and mid-size organizations. He has designed or helped design and implemented CRM and data warehouse projects with Big Data or in a SOA environment for cyber security, banking, telecommunication, retail, workforce, and manufacturing industries. ChaiJen has written over 1000 db objects and design scalable solution on Cloud MPP with data integrity for enterprise data management and business intelligence systems. He is a CDP, CDMP, CBIP, and is active in TDWI, ISSA and AI events.

Doris Ho: Co-VP of Finance


Doris has been working in the data management field over 20 years, specializing in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution architecture design.  She designed data solutions for many business domains including insurance, aerospace, telecom, utility and transit systems.  She has been passionate in promoting the value of data and architecture to both business stakeholders and technical teams.  Most recently, she has been working on Azure cloud architecture and data compliance & security projects.  Doris is also a program manager on data products.  She is very experienced in SDLC and agile development, is a certified PMP and a certified Scrum Master.  Doris has been participating in DAMA for many years and have been benefiting from it.  Has the desire to work with other DAMA-PS board members to bring more practical and latest data management topics to the Puget Sound data professionals

Sumedha Singhai:  Co-VP of Communications


Sumedha is a Data and Application manager with over 15 years of experience across business development and Operations and delivery of high-quality business products. She is adept at stakeholder and people management and at getting things done. She has extensive experience planning, designing, developing, architecting and maintaining multiple scalable software products. She got her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at Puna University in India and her MBA at Seattle University.  She is adept at Technical Program management with experience in software development and maintenance, strategic planning and recruiting and team fostering, including mentoring and coaching.

Michael Stillings: Co-VP of Communications


Michael has been working in Data Management and Analytics for 14 years and been a member of DAMA-PS for seven years. He has also developed engineering, database and web applications, consulted external and internal customers, taught classes and been a team, project and technical leader and mentor. He enjoys technical writing and other forms of disseminating information and knowledge. He worked in the aerospace industry for 36 years. Michael has architected and designed the end-to-end process for taking in value-added data on one side and performing all of the steps required to release cleansed and integrated data out the other side for data scientists and engineers. He has also facilitated decision support via Data Warehouse-based Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics products.
