Jeff Johnson: Past President

Jeff has 20+ years data management experience, including at Starbucks, Experian Information Solutions, World Vision, Sila Solutions Group and DeepData. He holds a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Practitioner certificate from DAMA International. Jeff has a desire to lead the strategic direction of DAMA-PS with a team of committed members in order to proactively grow DAMA-Puget Sound's presence in the Puget Sound area.

Patrick Zeine: Co-VP of Operations

Patrick Zeine is an Agile Project Manager at Boeing, specializing in Digital Transformation Data Analytics Integration among other responsibilities. He is recognized as a professional leader with a robust technical background, consistently adding significant business value. Known for his expertise in communication and strategic relationship building, Patrick brings 16 years of experience in IT, complemented by 7 years in Engineering and 3 years in Space Program Integration.

In 2015, Patrick completed his MBA and acquired certificates in Aerospace Project Management and Systems Engineering from Caltech. He holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. Originally from Seattle and raised in Alaska, Patrick draws inspiration from a pioneering culture rooted in the last frontier on earth, enriching his professional journey with diverse stories and experiences.

A standout achievement in Patrick's career includes his pivotal role in the Artemis moon mission, where he contributed to the construction and delivery of the Space Launch System Core Stage, recognized as the largest and most powerful rocket ever built by mankind, crafted by Boeing.

Patrick is passionate about developing talent, evident in his extensive involvement in both informal mentoring and the creation of formal mentoring programs. Patrick has previously served as the VP of Finance for DAMA-PS.

Sethu Meiyappan: Co-VP of Finance

Sethu has 20+ years of experience in Software Engineering including 11+ years in leadership roles. His areas of expertise include Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Enterprise Business Applications, Data Management, Supply Chain, and AI/ML. He uses technology to build systems that focus on business outcomes and better customer experience. He has managed teams across the globe and served as a mentor to many. His certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum Master.

Chirag Bindal: Co-VP of Marketing 

Chirag is Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Innovation at Zimetrics, a niche data engineering and sciences company. With over two decades of sales and consulting experience in the industry, Chirag brings a deep understanding of the digital technology landscape and is a strong advocate of data-driven approaches. His work has spanned across Retail & Ecommerce, Travel & Hospitality, Hi-Tech, Media & Advertising, and Healthcare industries. As a member of the DAMA-PS board, Chirag is dedicated to utilizing his leadership and marketing expertise to support the strategic and operational goals of the organization and contribute to the growth of this professional community.

Additionally, Chirag serves as Communications Chair for HIMSS Washington Chapter and also as an Arts Commissioner for City of Sammamish. 

Derrick Priebe: Co-VP of Communications

Derrick Priebe is currently a lead Product Manager at Boeing for all Offer to Cash processes supporting multiple complex SAP implementations across the company. He has a wide variety of experience supporting both physical implementations in the telecommunications industry as well as software implementations in the aerospace industry. Areas of experience include Project Management, Finance, Systems and Data Architecture, as well as Software Engineering. His advanced education includes MBA in Finance from Seattle University and MS in Information Management from the University of Washington. Certifications include SAFe Scrum Master and Project Management Professional.

Ruchi Arora: Co-VP of Programs and Education

Ruchi is a technology, and data executive with vast experience in transforming, and scaling business. She has unique problem solving capabilities, and proven AI/ML, analytics and data product experience that has consistently resulted in top line growth, operational efficiency and delighted customers.

Ruchi started her career as a Software developer building enterprise scale backend systems, but quickly shifted to AI and Big Data. Ruchi is a known speaker, who takes pride in solving complex business problems, and helping industries through their digital transformation, RPA and cloud journey.

In addition Ruchi is a Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion advocate, and an active member of many Women in Technology and Data communities.

Krishna Bonagiri: Co-VP Programs and Education

Krishna Bonagiri brings about over 25 years of experience in IT industry. He excels in architecting scalable solutions, driving innovation and aligning technology with business objectives. With a proven track record of successful project delivery, he has played key roles as a Delivery Manager and Program Manager. His expertise lies in leading teams, implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, and constructing robust data warehousing and business intelligence systems that yield valuable insights from actionable data. Krishna's proficiency spans across diverse industries, consistently delivering outstanding results.

As Co-VP of Programs and Education, Krishna's vision is to create a robust and impactful programs and education framework that empowers individuals, fosters learning, and drives positive change in the field of data engineering.

Vandana Gupta: Co-VP of Special Events

Vandana Gupta has over 15+ years of Product, Technology and Data experience across the Payments & Healthcare industry.

Vandana has been working with Mastercard for over a decade delivering customer centric solutions under data management, product delivery, technology alignment paired with strong leadership, analytical and communications skills. Her current role is Vice President, Data Strategy and Management with Mastercard where she enables data use, data innovation, AI & data ethics by embedding data strategy, data management and data governance for key lines of business units working with Product, Privacy, Legal and Engineering stakeholders.

She is currently located in Seattle, Washington.

Randy Lane: Co-VP of Membership

Randy is a driven Data Management leader with 30+ years of experience in helping organizations find the right fit Data management solutions. With years of experience in Software engineering and Data Architecture, Modeling, MDM to real Business value driven Analytics delivery. The key to success of customers in finding real driving value from their data. Randy has held CDMP, CBIP certifications. In the role of Co-VP of Programs and Education, Randy is driving the delivery of top interest technical and business presentations you want to learn about, AI – ML, Data as Product. Lets keep learning and driving value.

Mahesh Moturu: Co-VP of Membership

Mahesh Moturu has 20+ years of experience in managing teams developing data management technologies and implementing data solutions for healthcare, government, telecommunications and energy industries. Currently, as VP of Product Development and Technical Service at WhamTech, he leads the development of their Smart Data Fabric software. 

Mahesh also advises companies on strategy, products and technologies. He just founded Knovantage Technologies to pursue emerging opportunities in AI and data. 

Earlier in his career, he helped develop a multi-platform database engine that was acquired by Seagate Technologies. Later, at WholeWeb, he ran IT operations for their text and image search engines.

Mahesh holds an MS in Computer Science from University of Texas at Arlington, and an MBA (Valedictorian) from SMU Cox School of Business. Outside work, he enjoys participating and leading in his kids' scouting, robotics and other activities.
