DAMA Day is the Pacific Northwest’s premier data management conference, uniting data and technology professionals for a day of insight, innovation, and networking. This year's program is built around the theme From Data to Decisions – Powering Innovation in the Age of AI and Quantum, and is reflective of a pivotal moment for data professionals.

As AI adoption accelerates and quantum computing begins to influence real-world applications, organizations must rethink how data is governed, architected and activated. DAMA Day sessions will showcase how forward-looking data strategies, resilient architectures, and emerging technologies come together to turn complexity into clarity and data into decisive, high-value actions

SPEAKER / PRESENTATION CONSIDERATIONS

  • Session length: Presentations should be 50 minutes total, including Q&A. Applications close March 25, 2026 with notification shortly after closing

  • Materials & deadlines: Selected speakers must submit an abstract and final presentation (PowerPoint required) to DAMA-PS no later than April 15, 2026. Final agenda details and speaking slots will be communicated by April 30, 2026.

  • Copyright & usage: Speakers retain copyright to their original content. By submitting a proposal, speakers grant DAMA-PS the right to record, reproduce, and distribute the presentation (print, web, audio, and video formats) without royalties or fees. 

  • Commercial content policy: All presentations are subject to preview and pre-approval by the DAMA-PS Board of Directors. Sales pitches or promotional content may result in the session being interrupted or stopped, and may disqualify the speaker from future events.

  • Company approval: By submitting a proposal, speakers confirm they have permission from their employer to present under these terms. If approval has not yet been obtained, this must be clearly noted in the submission.

  • Panels: Speakers may also be considered for one or more panel discussions, as determined by DAMA-PS.
