Speaker Michael Lisin, VP Data Science, SilverLogic Labs 

Michael has 20 years of experience delivering data management and predictive analytics solutions to Fortune 100 companies and nonprofit customers, enabling businesses to discover hidden influences that can deliver big results. His work experience spans the entertainment, retail, travel, transportation, energy and financial industries. Michael holds an MBA and is a published author.

Whether you are trying to create a simple report or deliver cutting edge predictive analytics to understand your customers – clean, well-organized, and well defined data is a key to a trustworthy and accurate result.  Michael will present his recent project about human emotion analysis. He will provide a high-level overview of:

  • Computer vision and Microsoft Cognitive Services, including face detection and emotion recognition (anger, contempt, disgust, fear, happiness, neutral, sadness, and surprise)
  • Data gathering, data quality control, and data governance
