DAMA-PS President Profile: John Parent
John has been working in Data Management for 20+ years in a number of industries including Finance, Marketing, High Tech and currently in Health Care as Vice President of Customer Data Management for Medecision. John holds a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certificate from DAMA International, with a specialization in Data Quality. He is also certified as a Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP).
John strongly believes in the value of high quality, trustworthy data as a foundation for building data driven insights and models. He is committed to evangelizing this belief and raising the awareness that before you use the data you have to ensure that it is actually useful.
