John has been working in Data Management for 20+ years in a number of industries including Finance, Marketing, High Tech and currently in Health Care as Vice President of Customer Data Management for Medecision. John holds a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certificate from DAMA International, with a specialization in Data Quality. He is also certified as a Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP).
John strongly believes in the value of high quality, trustworthy data as a foundation for building data driven insights and models. He is committed to evangelizing this belief and raising the awareness that before you use the data you have to ensure that it is actually usable.
Sumedha Singhal (DAMA-PS Co-VP of Communications)
Sumedha is a Data and Application manager with over 15 years of experience across business development and Operations and delivery of high-quality business products. She is adept at stakeholder and people management and at getting things done. She has extensive experience planning, designing, developing, architecting and maintaining multiple scalable software products. She got her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at Puna University in India and her MBA at Seattle University. She is adept at Technical Program management with experience in software development and maintenance, strategic planning and recruiting and team fostering, including mentoring and coaching.
ChaiJen To (DAMA-PS Co-VP of Operations)
ChaiJen is a consultant on both traditional and Cloud data architecture, for Global 1000 companies and mid-size organizations. He has designed or helped design and implemented CRM and data warehouse projects with Big Data or in a SOA environment for cyber security, banking, telecommunication, retail, workforce, and manufacturing industries. ChaiJen has written over 1000 db objects and design scalable solution on Cloud MPP with data integrity for enterprise data management and business intelligence systems. He is a CDP, CDMP, CBIP, and is active in TDWI, ISSA and AI events.
Doris Ho (DAMA-PS Co-VP of Finance)
Doris has been working in the data management field over 20 years, specializing in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution architecture design. She designed data solutions for many business domains including insurance, aerospace, telecom, utility and transit systems. She has been passionate in promoting the value of data and architecture to both business stakeholders and technical teams. Most recently, she has been working on Azure cloud architecture and data compliance & security projects.
Doris is also a program manager on data products. She is very experienced in SDLC and agile development, is a certified PMP and a certified Scrum Master. Doris has been participating in DAMA for many years and have been benefiting from it. Has the desire to work with other DAMA-PS board members to bring more practical and latest data management topics to the Puget Sound data professionals.
