In-person:  6:00 PM

Online: 6:00 PM to 7:00PM

Abstract

In the near future, the combination of blockchain, distributed ledgers, and augmented governance platforms will transform data management.  Data and Analytics leaders must act now to prepare for these changes.
Are you ready for a blockchain-enabled future of data management?  Do you know how Blockchain and related new technologies will impact your data management program, and what you can do to prepare?  If you answered ‘no’ to either of these questions, this session is for you.
The presentation provides a high-level overview of the data governance and quality capabilities enhanced or enabled by evolving Web 3.0 technologies and the use cases they support, including:
o    Blockchain augmented data governance
o    External data sharing
o    Data governance networks
o    Reference and Master data as a service
Session attendees are provided a list of recommended actions they can take now to better prepare for these innovations – with a focus on understanding the business benefits they provide and how to best ‘sell’ their key stakeholders on these benefits.
